Accountants who specialise in
Arts and Entertainment
About us
Theatre, TV, Media & Showbusiness Accountants
Our typical clients are theatre, arts or media orientated. Many of our limited company clients are non-profit making, limited by guarantee and are funded by grant aiding bodies, sponsors and donors. Many have also obtained charitable status, with aims or objectives to educate, promote, bring to a wider, younger audience, etc, arts, theatre, dance, mime, etc.
We therefore have detailed specialist knowledge of the Charities Act and the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) ‘Accounting and Reporting by Charities’.
We audit accounts of limited companies that are commercial theatre producers, record labels, filmmakers etc. as well as auditing production statements for shows.
The accounts that we produce satisfy the reporting requirements of the various bodies involved with such a company, including Companies House, the Charity Commission and HM Revenue & Customs.
Many of our self employed clients work in the Arts and Entertainment field. They include actors, dancers, stage managers, lighting and sound technicians, designers, filmmakers etc.
Although we specialise, we have clients who are not connected to this particular industry. Other clients’ activities are diverse and include software consultancy, property management, graphic design, retailing etc.
We have very strong specialist connections in all areas of accountancy and taxation.
